My first time here. It was a little daunting because we were the only customers in the place. It’s a pretty little place and the staff was incredibly helpful while I created my vegetarian meal. The only food that I would change is oddly the tempura vegetables. For some reason there was just no flavor at all. I brought them home and will happily doctor them up with sauces fo lunch tomorrow. Will go back.

Absolutely Phenomenal Birthday Celebration! ​If you are looking for an incredible Hibachi experience, Nakama Japanese Steakhouse is the absolute place to go. It is easily one of my absolute favorites! ​We had reservations for our group, and from the moment we sat down, the service was flawless. The waitress was awesome—she kept our drinks consistently full and was completely on top of everything. We even realized last-minute that we forgot to order noodles for someone, and she corrected it instantly before the cooking even began. ​The Food ​Everything we ordered was 10/10: ​The Starters: Both the soup and the salad at the beginning of the meal were awesome. ​The Sushi: We ordered a plate for the table, and it was incredible. ​The Main Course: Our group got a mix of steak, shrimp, and chicken, paired with a combination of fried rice and noodles. Every single bite was phenomenal. ​The Show & Celebration ​Our cook was awesome and highly entertaining. The restaurant was clean and our server was friendly. However, the quantity and quality doesn’t match the price. I ordered the sake sangria ($10) and it looked & tasted like watered down orange juice. The noodles aren’t included with hibachi, so I had to order a side of noodles. Lastly I placed a to go order for my husband and the salad has what appears to be mold on the cucumber.

I came to this place twice within a 30-day period. Both the chefs were really good however on my second visit that chef was definitely a step above. I have had hibachi too many times where you get your rice wait for the rest of your food and everything starts to get cold. On my second trip the chef was able to multitask and cook multiple things at the same time. The rice was hot, the vegetables were hot and the meat was also hot. He also used less spice but it was still very flavorful therefore it wasn't really salty. I will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful experience! Will definitely be coming back again. Gavin was our host and he did an excellent job making us feel welcome! The hibachi chefs are truly the stars of the show, dazzling diners with their knife skills, playful banter, and incredible cooking prowess. It's not just a meal; it's an interactive performance that keeps everyone engaged and entertained.
